Where is that information from? They built these cars with a mix of a road vehicle / rally car and knew they were going to be run hard.

I am just looking into an aftermarket head an block whenever my engine breaks. I live in the Caribbean so we don't have professionalism to that extent when it comes to engine building. I have a locally built 700whp engine that was built around 5-8 years ago but the car is prob driven once a month now however it was used in the past for drag racing so we don't really know how long it has again.
Any advice on a reputable built head an block that is not too costly, I was looking at ams, mazworkx, tomei, boosting performance. I saw issues with customers about buschur and well English racing is a little more costly. I am looking at a head an block that can handle between 800-900HP safely that would prob be driven on weekends only on low boost and now and again on high boost. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. |
Just look at all the vendors here on the site. AMS, Buschur, TSComp, Boostin, Magnus, English Racing, STM, etc. All of these companies build great engines. However, if your wanting more than a 2.0, any kind of variance on a stroker block, I’d call English Racing. |
Don't forget curt brown. |
