Relax. That is not what I meant. In general better fluids do cost a little more than some of the factory recommended stuff. My point is some people tend to buy the cheaper stuff because it is too expensive at the time and then whine when their engine/drivetrain pukes its guts. I'm not saying Amsoil is the de facto of automotive fluids.

Diaqueen is probably the one instance where I'd trust an OEM fluid over other brands.
