i couldnt get mine out without takin the sunroof completely out so i just used fabric paint
|
I'm not sure how it was removed, one of the other tech's at my work did that while I was at work on other things.
|
Wow! It actually looks like the parts belong together. I always thought the stock gray pillars & headliner looked like they just grabbed whatever was next to the assembly line and stuck them in with the otherwise all-black interior. I might do this to mine. Thanks for the pics.

I thought it might catch a few people's attention and inspire! :)

Looks awesome Mike. Great work!

I like it. I did part of mine already (plastics) but wasn't sure about the oh sh** bars/handles/visors/etc.
Walkthrough on how you did the fabric? Just remove and replace? |
looks awesome!

looks nice. I did my A-pillars last summer to match this black gauge pod i got. they look nice esp. since i matched the color to the dash.
I wanted to do the back pillars as well but i was worried about that bracket that holds you belt.... dont you think that after a while the paint will get worn off?? this is the only reason i have not painted them yet,,, and i really would like to |
nice job. I used krylon ultra flat black on mine. Still havent finished tho. Need some coin to finish my guage setup before I paint some of the stuff.
|
what did you do step wise replacing the headliner? Im in the middle of putting suede on mine and the adhesive spray im using bleeds through the suede and ruins it. any suggestion on what i could use to bond the suede with it matting up with spray glue?
