Awesome results! How long will the stock block last on this kind of power before it gives and needs to be built? Thanks!

Thanks. With the torque controlled the way it is, this car will be as reliable as it is from the factory floor.

It would probably shoot the wheel out before 35psi up top.

I'm running a 7670 and putting in a built 2.0 motor now, at 8k what do you think is the most boost I can run without the wheel coming apart? It's typically exhaust side wheels that have the issue, yes?

The only real way to know the answer to that is to log the turbo shaft speed with the speed sensor.

Also the question varies based on where you're talking about holding boost. Low rpm vs high RPM, etc.

The turbo says its 64lb/min so probably around 30psi on a 2.0L.

have you ever seen a 7670 or smaller EFR turbo loose its wheels due to overspeed? So far I've only heard of the 9180 doing it?

No, but if you over spin the turbo, it will for sure happen.

I would contact CBRD. Maybe you have one of your oil lines setup wrong or some kind of restrictor isn't in place.

This car doesn't burn any oil at all, and this turbo works great.

This is a very very smooth car. Anyone with a X looking for close to or right around 500WHP dynojet on e85 with stock cams should definitely consider this turbo kit.

I just bought a 2014 Evo X GSR almost identical to this one that I'm trying to figure out what all has been done to it from the previous owner. Do you know if your customer was from North Carolina? Thanks!
