dude from 89 to 91 not a huge difference still some, The timing advance with out a doubt doesn't like the 87 that's for sure, when I was running the 87 (don't lecture me) the car would sputter at idle. If you throw 94 That's the best. But the car just drinks that **** up.

well im running 91, and have been for like at least 3-4months... but since i installed the exhaust and timing control on the same day... not sure if i can feel anything.... but i guess i gotta play with it, maybe ill try to take it off in like 2 days n feel if theres any loss....

but another question i have is when u take it off, does it take a fwe days to feel the loss? or is it instant?

I took it off during the morning, had my car parked for 8 hours then drove..it didn't feel the same.

Don't bother with 89 octane, here in the GTA atleast, 89 octane is a mixture of 3 parts of 87oct + 2 parts of 91oct, instead of a 50-50 mix. I know for sure PetroCanada uses the 3:2 ratio.

damn, so that means when i take it to the dyno, i cant unplug it and ask for another run within the same time period =(

Hydrolikz Aug 23, 2009 07:47 AM

You can, it's been done before and shown a loss in HP

really.... anyone post results? never found any concrete info on this product... so seeing them would be great... kinda wana know how mcuh the timing is changed by and where and the differences for specifically our cars (2.0l mainly) with or without it.... (since the dyno chart on rrm shows for eclipse... and better to see results from someone whos not trying to push the product if u know what i mean =p)

hopefully ill be doing a dyno this wednesday... n hopefully they'll let me.

yea i wsa wondering how itll look o a 2.0 though. since i got the 08 gts and the dyno is for the 2.4 09 gts

Hydrolikz Aug 23, 2009 11:15 PM

Well I haven't seen one for it yet, but I don't see why it would work for the 2.4 and not the 2L

BTW: I responded to you over in the tune thread

qJai Aug 23, 2009 11:18 PM

not saying it wont work... just saying i want to know what kinda gains it would be for a 2.0....

mikron15 Aug 24, 2009 06:01 AM

I still think its better to save up some more and get the WORKS P1 flash.. I'm not too happy so far after reading other threads of the timing module.

qJai Aug 24, 2009 08:38 AM
