2004 Yamaha R6

Thanks for looking!

I have for sale a 2004 Yamaha R6. Its the limited edition liquid silver w/black flame. Very minor mods done. Factory license plate holder removed, flush blinkers put in. THATS IT! Bike has never seen track time, only used in fair weather. Washed weekly, lubed after every wash. Oil is changed every 2k with honda oil.

Known problems:
Front brake lever scratched. Yup scratched. Rubbed it against a wall, while pushing it into back yard.
Very outter edge of factory exhaust can scratched. Unnoticable to anyone UNLESS I say "Hey look at that scratch!" See above wall.
Flasher relay out, front left won't flash.
Ram Air duct cover= flimsy piece of black plastic, sits on top of headlight housing. CRACKED. I used it to hold onto while tightening a bolt on the fairing. She cracked when I squeezed =\ .

THATS IT! Bike has never been downed, no accidents period. Knock on wood! Its sitting at about mid 4k mile range. Honestly don't remember exact mileage. Since the weather turned south, I garaged it at a friends house off base. Serious buyers let me know, I will go over and find out. I can't just ask him because I took my key (didn't want him riding it).

Asking price is 7k. Paid 8200 +TTL.

I will try to host pics later, I have to go to work right now. If anyone wants pics feel free to pm me, or email me at tomhedy@hotmail.com or thomas.hedy@cannon.af.mil

Almost forgot! Reason for selling is downpayment on an Evo. The bug has gotten to strong for me to resist, I gotta have one. Insurance would kill me on both the bike and EVO, so i'm selling my baby to fund the downpayment.

Insurance btw for interested party, I paid 94 a month FULL coverage. I'm 19 single male.

Thanks.

Tom

I'm stationed at Cannon AFB. My best friend was at Nellis for ahwhile. The pics are from a road trip I took to see him. 8 hours in the saddle, 800 miles, almost worthy of an Iron Butt.

Heh that reminds me, 1600 of the miles are freeway from here to vegas, and back. Man that bike was fun as hell in Vegas!

Nah actually got a little over 40mpg. Downside is a 4 gallon tank. Not a lot of gas, just a lot of filling up. .

Not sure how it'd work out either, i think bringing out of state bikes into CA you are required to have 8500 miles or something odd like that. I have bike pink for my SV650S too, but loan on the car as well. Matching plates yes, you can see them in my car for sale thread!
