RPW Decompression Gasket

I forgot all about this gasket... i was going to use it a long time ago to up my boost and somehow misplaced it in the closet when i decided to sell my stuff.

Anyway, for those looking to run more boost this is what you need. It's the 1.1mm thick version that should drop you down to about 9:1 compression ratio. It is still all sealed up and ready to ship. I was going to use this to run 14psi on my setup.

SC and turbo guys could benefit from this and i'll let it go for 150 shipped! That's about 20 bucks cheaper than Vision not including their shipping charges.

EDIT: Just wanted to add that there is no need for the adjustable cam gear with this gasket and it won't effect factory driveability either. All you have to do is install and go.

Isn't the stock ratio 9:1? Or is it 9:5:1? Whats the difference anyways?

9.5:1 is stock. The lower the ratio the more/safer you can boost. Check out Omarboy25's ride. He's running the decompression head gasket as well in order to break his 300whp goal. You gotta get that down to boost high. Otherwise you'll be on race gas the whole time and even that has it's limitations.

Even If I'm only planning on running maybe 10psi would this help out the engine? I'm just oblivious to screwing with the ratio. Even if this would help me, I can't afford $150. Wish I could take it off your hands Boe. I am just spending so much to get mine back and running.

lowering the compression ratio will not only allow you to boost higher and safer but it keeps the egt's lower. This drop also allows you to run a leaner AFR to acheive good egt's and more power. It's cool if no takers as i'm planning on returbo'ing my car soon and may use it anyway.
