He's probably pissed because he wants the RS and got stuck with a GSR. Seriously though, a friend of mine is looking for an RS around 21,000 and this would definately qualify.

I have also known Marc for a few years, some people mistake his straight foward demenor for being a *****, but he tells it like it is.. I would rather a seller i am about to buy a car from tell it like it is, then candy coat everything..

The car is MINT, i saw it the first day he bought it, and many times since then.. I guess people are always weary of a good deal, but don't be this car is legit..

no i am not weary of the car regarding it being a good deal...i am weary of a gentleman who is a ***** to me over IM telling me that the car doesn't have a title and isn't supposed to have one . Also, that it has 1400-1500 miles on it, he has owned it since october and he isn't a dealer. I am not really sure how he drove the car around without title (unless he didn't pay cash for it and its at the bank and he has no idea what he is talking about saying that new cars don't get titles) , registration or plates.

I understand your concern, but he didn't drive the car.. He has something like 5 cars so the car sat in his garage.

When you buy a new car out of state, you get a manufacturer's statement of origin (MSO), not a title. You don't get a title until the car is registered and titled at your local DMV office. Well, he didn't register or title it. He drove it with a 60 day temp tag and then parked it in his garage. This technically means the person who buys the car from him will be the original owner, potentitally increasing the resale value of the car. BTW, you can transfer ownership of a car with the MSO. It has a place on the back where you can transfer ownership just like with a title. And in NY, you don't have to be a dealer to do this like in some other states.

ok...and i had asked him that how he was driving it without a title, registration or plates....he said YOU DON'T GET A TITLE ON A NEW CAR DUMBASS and some other WAY worse things....so take it for what it is....i have some interested parties in my wrx and my sti and that price was what i was looking for .....i will stick with the dealer that i work for sometimes and get it for invoice minus holdback before i deal with a guy like that.... i would rather pay $24k for a 03 before i have some dude tell me to e*Ts**t on IM ....unreal

I understand your point, but like i said he is just a straight shooter, who tends to speak his mind.. He has probally gotten so much BS from people who aren't serious and it is hard for him to seperate who is realy interested in the car, and who is wasting his time.. Personally i can't believe this car is still forsale at this price, it is basically BRAND new, and has never been regerstered.

Either way i understand if this car isn't for you, but some people would rather swollow their pride for an outstanding deal, so this car is for someone out there..

I just think you two had a mis-comunication, if you are serious i would try talking to him again.. BUt as the saying goes "Money talks, bull**** walks"

The reason Marc is posting through a friend is rather simple-- he has been banned from our site for some time due to the same reasons as you encountered Dave-- rudeness which later turned into slanderous threats. Subi please refrain from posting further for sale posts for Marc. Thanks.
