hey guys...need your opinion...looking for a set of HKS 264 and found these used ones on EBAY,....you think its worth buying used camshafts....

he says that it has about 15k miles....please let me know your honest opinion before i buy something that I might regret later. This is not like a BOV that you can just unhook if you dont like it...so...thanks!

 

I probably wouldn't unless you could actually see them and examine them closely. You can spend a little more and get brand new gsc cams which are the same specs and have better power delivery (more smoother according to Dynoflash), for $499 shipped. Just something to consider.

 

Hey I was thinking about the same auction but i have been contemplating going 264/272

 

I was recommended on buying new from another member Ciythugo.
He has a fresh set of 264 'sfor sale. I have rebuilt an engine (not Evo) and noticed the cam lobe on one to be worn more than the others.
I would guess the mileage on the
used cam should be a big factor if you go used.

 

i bought used set of 264 hks cams for $320 shipped and they look like new.
i saved like $200
