FS: DVD headunit
Hey guys,
I'm looking to sell my dvd headunit. Its made by a company called innovatek which is a no name company but is of surprisingly good quality.
I ran a search on them prior to buying and found that they use pioneer parts, just not the name brand so it doesnt cost nearly as much.
This dvd headunit is cd/mp3/vcd/dvd compatable and has rca inputs on the front for a video game unit. The headunit is just that, a headunit. Sorry but there is no screen attached or available with it.
The only down side to the unit itself is that it doesnt have a built in preamp. So in order to get sound you need to either a.) have a cd headunit with audio inputs or b.) install an external amp.
The reason I'm selling is because I dont have a cd headunit with audio inputs and my general lazyness is preventing me from installing an amp. (plus this unit is installed in my 96 subaru outback, so its not like I need to go all out with this thing.)
Other than that the unit plays dvds very well and sounds great (there is a headphone jack on the front of the unit, which is how I know the sound does work.) And was only installed a week ago.....i think i've used it like 4 times...
I'm looking to get about $80 for it. I know that because it doesnt have a preamp thats a huge turn off to a lot of people but anyone that has a cd player with input jacks can hook this unit up in about 5 seconds. And compared to alot of other dvd players out there thats a pretty good deal.
Ill try to have pics up in a day or two since its dark right now and I cant find my camera
