Isn't the Quadro a workstation card? Meaning, the thing isn't going to perform in games the same way a 6800GT ultra would.

 

Yes it is.. Our GIS specialist uses a similar card for his GIS software (kind of like autocad)

 

Ya, the Quatro is made for CAD and 3D-Studio Max and stuff.

 

this graphics card is ideal for CAD related programs which is what i have a degree in and also can play games in very high detail. i ran Half life 2 on it and it ran smoothly. that game is really demanding in video.
