Exclamation *** Announcement: Please Read ***

On behalf of all the forum members I'd like to ask when you post a thread please follow these guidlines:

- Place "FS" (For Sale) or "FT" (For Trade) or "WTB" (Wanted To Buy) or "GB" (Group Buy) in front of the subject.

- Be precise about what you are selling in the subject line.

These are not good examples:
"Look here!!!"
"Wow, great deal!"
"Selling stuff, look inside"
"stuff for sale"

These are good examples:
"FS: Evo 8 Recaro Seats"
"WTB: Evo 8 Wing"
"FT: My RMR intake for your RRM intake"
"GB: RMR Type 2 Lip"

These guidlines are in place to help keep this forum organized and easy to navigate. I hope everyone follows them so that we can reap the full benefit of a highly organized system.

Thanks,

Kareem

I think it would be better to just have separate threads for those who are selling parts and those who are buying parts. Its hard enough to sort throught the posts of people who don't title the subject correctly, but when you are looking to buy a specific item and you have to browse through WTB and GB it just gets overwhelming.
Just a suggestion to make searching for parts a little easier.

There's the sign-up form.

And you'll notice that Kar33m is now an Ex-mod, so he's not staff anymore.

Please post as per the above guidelines. As for Kareem not being a mod, he still offers invaluable information.

Feel free to follow your F/S Recaro Front Seats with some healthy adjectives like "Fire sale prices" or some other attention grabber. But let's keep it organized because everyone benefits and helps with the search function as well.

As for being ripped off on Ebay, to help the sales process on EvoM use vendor ratings as a guide to who to conduct business with. Positive ratings feedback is a good sign that the deal will go smoothly. Mark and the mods on here will try to assist and take appropriate actions when deals go South.

Happy Selling!

To re-enforce what google said above regarding Evom helping sales go smoothly and helping members when deals go bad, please read the forum rules carefully and you will notice Evolutionm.net or it's staff are not liable for damage, loss, harm, or any other negative actions that occur during the use of the site. Im saying this not to discourage people, but to make them aware that when dealing with other vendors or members as far as sales go, you are not protected by Evolutionm.net, so excersize extreme caution when doing so.

Kareem is correct that Evolutionm.net and its staff are not responsible for deals that go south, but we will often lend a hand when necessary. Often times contact from a moderator or a timeout/IP ban in more serious cases is enough to facilitate the sale going through or payment being returned. Use buyer ratings as a starting point and get as much information from the selling party as possible. If possible use a credit card and or paypal as each offer means of recovering money should the item never be sent.

Let's make this forum as productive and successful as possible. We've have success stories from the smallest items through large ticket used cars so it does work!
