FS: EVO VIII Grounding Kit
FS: EVO VIII Grounding Kit
For those that are interested I sell a top quality grounding kit made specifically for the EVO VIII. It's not a universal, one-size fits all kit but a kit that is custom made for ONLY the EVO VIII. The kit comes with the following:
- directions for install including pictures
- 6 4-gauge braided copper wires with gold-plated terminals
- transmission bolt and lock washer
- zip tie to keep it clean
The price is about 1/3 - 1/2 the price of the other kits on the market.
You can find the price and ordering information on my website along with more information and pictures:

I've had the kit on my EVO VIII for about 1 year. The differences that I noticed are:
- smoother acceleration
- brighter headlights
It's also helped with a problem that my car had when inching forward. I would inch forward, depress the clutch, and let the rpms fall to idle but once in a while the rpms would fall really low (500) and a couple times my car stalled. Since the kit the car has not stalled....the rpms will still fall a bit low (not as often) but the car is able to recover.
Let me know if you guys have any questions. Thanks....Wombat
