FS: Mitsu lightweight front strut brace
This is the Mitsubishi lightweight aluminum front strut brace designed for the Evo VIII. It looks great under the hood (really sets off the color of the valve cover) and is much lighter than the heavy and blah-looking steel stock brace. It will set you back about $420 at a dealer. I'm selling it for $275 shipped within the 48 states. Here's a picture of it under the hood of my now-sold '03 Evo:

I still have the box and packaging that it came in, so you can be sure that it will be well-packed and arrive in good condition. If someone wants closer pictures, I can take them.
Thanks.

Answers to above questions:
I'm in Northern Virginia near D.C.
It is around half the weight of the stocker. I just used my wife's digital kitchen scale to weigh the stocker and this one. The stocker is 7 lbs. 4-1/2 oz. This one is 3 lbs. 10 oz. So, you save about 3-1/2 pounds off the end of the car that needs lightening the most. That's not huge, but every little bit counts.
As mitsuorder said, this thing looks great under the hood because of the color coordination with the valvecover.
Check out the photos that I added to the original post above.
As far as the price, I might be able to come down a little. Make me an offer.

Wow! My engine bay looked great with those mods.
If I have the extra cash I might ****** this up and put it back where it belongs.
Saving money for light weight wheels though.
Bump for a good guy, honest seller.
