You dont need to remove the head for any of that.

Speed Density is worth it and that thread posted on the first page, GST comes back and says theres gains on the last page. With the BBK and Speed Density your car will be a lot smoother plus gain 10-15whp.

Looked long and hard but didn't find the thread that Bryan at GST mentioned some of the down falls of SD. When addressing the OP's first post I just wanted to mention that the SD MAY be the only thing to reconsider. If anyone else finds that thread it would be nice if they could post it or if someone else with extensive SD experience such as a knowledgeable tuner could comment. I am sure that for all out power SD definitely has an advantage. But is it for everyone especially when it's your DD?

You raise a very good point, so I asked:

After doing more research on Evom.net, I'm beginning to wonder if I even need Speed Density with my modifications. What is your professional opinion?

Hey Noah,

Honestly we only really see the need to run Speed Density on large frame GT35 type turbo's where a 4" filter inlet flows more than a OEM MAF can support, I would personally think for your setup you would make the same power with the MAF as you would by switching to Speed Density.

Thanks,

I've decided not to run SD for the time being.

Am I missing any gaskets from that above list?

Similar to my own setup, though I went a bit further. Mine has been super reliable and I'm at 60K with the stock clutch. However, fast and reliable has definitely not been close to cheap.
