hows it idling now rockman? cam gears were dialed the wrong way (2.4L block requires 3-4 degrees of cam advance, and they were set at 3-4 deg retarded... so about 7-8degrees out of time). on the dyno it seemed to idle better immediately, so lets see if the man agrees

OH HELL YEA IT DOES IMMEDIATE FIX INSTANTLY. now the evo idles at like 1100 consistantly and when i turn on a/c the idle raise to like 1200 and still when i turn it drops but it drops to 1000 and right back up just as quick. Coming to a stop when it was dropping to 500 and back up consistantly well now it does not exsist anymore idle nice and high 1100 coming to a stop EVERY SINGLE TIME. Also This morning when i turned the car on i got used to it jumping up to like 3000 then after about 45 seconds it would drop to 1100 on the old gearsets LOL TODAY I TURN IT ON FROM COLD start up to go to work and it jumped up to 1200 for 20 seconds(which is not even lound as its normal) then went right into place 1100

Im telling you man as people that know me im a very very very picky person when it comes to spending money the idle issue would problay not bother most evo owners but for me I was getting pissed as i want the car to sound straight 24/7. Now its back on point NOT TO MENTION loved the new found pump gas power and the 300rpms faster more spool difference LOL

Beginnng dyno numbers from last night (Pump Gas)

Mustang 402whp 422tq = DJ 463whp 485tq on pump gas 0 Knock not a bad start but as you know the blue bomber has more in it on pump great numbers for first time on mustang dyno after corrections now we just got to fiqure out that stupid dipping up top and see how it looks on E85

ok went back up to evodyamics to get more insurance for my evo and they made a bafflied oil pan so i had it installed on my evo for that last bit of extra insurance it was either that or kiggly HLA and i was told by both shops do the oil pan for sure. so that part had to be added to the blue bomber price was very very very reasonable for sure. and because of adding this i had another oil change LOL. i should have just waited and did it all at once lol did not even get 100 miles out the first set of oil LOL.

I also added blue lug nuts as i got them for helping on the evox X build soon to start a thread on that. I ll have pics of the lugs on the blue bomber tomorrow

What's up RockmanX! I'm finally getting around to posting on your thread Dude. Glad to hear that the car is still running strong, mine is still doing pretty good to despite the blow out that I had this evening. Looking forward to some NCAA Football man! Take care dude.

That's my white Evo in the second picture from the bottom FYI

Not bad man! I'm glad EvoD got you straightened out. There are an infinite number of reasons why EvoD is the only place I go. I'm just as, or more picky than you sir.

I'm coming back to Kevin once he's back in town to get tuned on SD. I wish you were still on E85. Otherwise, it's not even a fair fight.

haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa lol im adding insurance parts on my car right now anywho. Dont need mine breaking period lol. Nope i have e85 map(map switcher JMS hooked this car up boss LOL) in my car i just dont run it i dont see the point in it damn gas goes to fast. i put it on e85 for events or track days car shows etc other then that pump is plenty fast as you know tq is very very high. besides after 600 the evo become unreiable and becomes a shop *****. so if you decide to stay where your at ill be seeing you at evod often. im sure if you come up there sometime you will see me. i live down the street now.
