wow like the total price of the build is 2400 or parts that are missing are that total? Man hidden cost suck seriously hints why i have not gotten a built tranny they say hey 895 next thing i know i get a bill for 1500-2000 crazy thats the only thing i wish i could cop now is a built tranny. waiting for some people to post theres for sale which you will see from time to time.

 

lol even the off topic you can learn things as there has been talk of tuning suspension rims etc lots of good information in here. only thing missing is discussion of finding part prices lol. well hopifully there will be results soon hommie

 

Well what i will owe after everything. Def not the total. its 2400 more than ive been told i had to pay... for the past 2 months.
The shop has been quoting me for the stage 2 t/c this whole time. Even though the first thing i wanted to upgrade was the stage 3 t/c. They told me that in the estimates, theyve only included the stage 2 pricing, even though that doesnt matter because they never sent me anything except the very first est. when they were tearing things apart.
So even though i never received anything, and i specifically told, and sent an email saying i wanted the stage 3, i guess it didnt make it through. So now instead of only owing about 6-900, my balance is 3050.... and i have less than a month to come up with the extra money

wow dude you need to sell some stuff asap or its just going to have to get put on hold until you get the funding. Dont go to credit cards to pay for it or anything save up the money with your regular check maybe work some OT or something you know. a surpised 2400 bill is shocking but again if you dont have the money dont force deals or borrow money just tell them you were not expecting that and they need to hold off until you gather funds. I see people quick to use the CC avoid that and save up and sell OEM parts etc till you have the funds.

Thank goodness I have only had one surprise during my build so far and that was when motor rx shipped my motor fedex(dont ask me why) and it cost me 410 to pay for the shipping i was hot and it was on a week i did not get paid so i had to use my only CC i had to pay for it so i could get my motor then next week pay my CC off that 410 but that took money away from other things bills so i know thats one surprise we all dont want. Thats a main reason i have not touched my tranny TC yet i want to get this done first and my car back and chill for like a month or two then look into built trannys but i might wait till after my paint job to get one.

 

Well i have a little over 2k saved, so i need about another 1k, which is feasible. Im selling my wheels, my apr rear diffuser, and my old 2.0 and some tires. So if just one of them sells, ill be in the clear!

 

long as you have good pricing on the items they will sell. Just playing to waiting game. Once its all said and done im positive you will look back and be like i remember when i got surprised etc. Hows your block coming around with ER and crew i know he stated you need anew crank. What are they building you again a LR2.4 or std2.4??

Im not sure, i havent heard from them since they said i needed a new crank. They said it wouldnt be too hard to get another one...

You and me both but i know when its complete that is going to be a nice feeling i mean seriously im going from like 320 whp to over 500+ so will be a adjustment and crazy part is i rode in a couple stock block evos with big turbos when i was there and Dans was like 450 somewhere in that range and it was a killer ride lol. So mine is going to be nastier then that kind of wild to think that 450 felt right and good

 

iam thinking right now that when would your build done and how long would this thread gonna be. This thread would probably gonna catch the " attention post *****" thread sooner or later. LOL
