Where do you get the chromoly cross memeber and I love the white exterior with the diffusers! Rx7 wheels ftw

I been super busy and haven't been on any sites in a while. Made a few changed so wanted to update this thread. I was incorrect about the civic radiator. It was noy good for my half filled block. I Got an Audi radiator and now have no cooling issues. It is super efficient. While driving Temps actually start to go below the half mark and slowly keeps falling. Also Found out I had a boost leak on the intake manifold that was there when it got polished.

Just a lil fun test pull after fixing a huge boost leak on the intake manifold. untuned for wot a gang of fuel was added at 6k on up. initially it made 693whp on older comp 67mm compressor wheel but boost came on awkwardly. It would get 22psi at 7k and slowly creep to 31psi by 9300rpm. We initially thought the turbo was just laggy even though it didn't feel laggy. But it was the damn boost leak. This is Comp turbo newer 67mm compressor wheel so I had no idea what boost it would hit and definitely didn't know with the leak fixed. so I did a roll to 45mph in 3rd and and then went 100% throttle. it spooled to 20psi just before 6k and max boost was 36-37psi. That is the stretched wastegste spring boost!! This pull is Pig rich afr (10.6) and just at 6.5* peak timing!!! It lifted and got crazy swirly still spinning all 4's up to shift light....9500rpm lol.

I was checking my logs and i'm do a before and after. This vid is an older 2step pull. just want people to see this LOL. Now this log is going to sound a lil crazy and not add up ok LOL. so pay close attention. This is with the older 67mm wheel and leaking intake manifold. At 6.5k...4.8psi, at 6.7k...12.64psi, 8k 30psi = 693whp. and in this vid 3rd gear I let off at 8.5k








now this thread vid. 6.5k..31psi, 6.7k..35psi and it looks like thats where boost is and boost creeps up to 36/37psi in upper rpms with 7.8* peak timing = ?????? :-)

 

I really don't be online to often but I have got to state this. I am dealing with a newer shop in IL. R&D performance and they are setting the bar real real high compared to other shops. And most of the other shops are owned by my friends or we're associates lol. any way John Drew the owner is the new tuner. I've seen him do some things power wise I have never seen from others tuners. This dude is a certified AEM genius. We hit the dyno to see what she is putting down and The damn arc-2 took a **** and also made my sparktech cop go bad in the process. So while on the dyno they swapped in stock coil and wires and car still broke up. Going back to dyno with sparktech pro 12 cdi ignition and let her do what she do!!!
