On another future note, I think I'm going to get the whle car painted. I'm really leaniing torwards the 2009 corvette cyber gray metallic. What do you guys thnk?

Yeah, i would wanna try a VII too. Theyre also fun cars. COol bro, i cant wait for those pictures of the shoot. Yeah the motors arent exactly the same, but theyre somewhat close. So I hope that aids you in your build.

About the color, I think the gray is a pretty cool color, but for me, I wouldnt paint it that color. Only because where Im from, there are a ton of GG/AS/WW Evos here and I see so many of them, it kinda feels as if they only made three colors for the car LOL. In general, silver and white make up more than half of the car colors here. I would go with something different, but thats just me.

Sooo I got my fenders in today. Un wrapped them, and there the wrong color! So noow I have too get it painted -_-. Now just waiting for the clutch master to come in this weekend!

Thought up some future plans for the car:

Evo 9 head
Wiseco pistons and rods
HKS headgasket
At least 272 cams
20g TD05 Turbo

Should put me at about the 400hp mark!

I saw in your FS thread that you had decided to keep the car and I think it's a good choice. Very original and very unique, and that's amazing that you just stumbled upon it. For sure keep it the original color! Glad to see you taking care of it.

Yeah, I was just mad so I wanted to sell it. But I'm slowly narrowing down the problems! I figured original color would be best also, I'm already getting prices on paint and everything to respray the front. I've also started sanding/primering the fenders

I found it in a wholesale lot at a local dealership that a friend worked at. As for numbers, I think its putting down close to 300.

As for a few updates, I got my new clutch master in finally, but....they didn't include anything to attatch it to the pedal with -_- lol, junkyard here I come! I also found out my friend is saving a BRAND new evo 9 mivec head for me. 0 miles on it, not even opened. So I've already planned on getting at least 272 cams, aftermarket valves/springs. And probably going to try to do pistons/rods while I'm at it also. Trying for 400whp here!

Are ARP headstuds re-useable?

Very nice, it will be an amazing car even without the new head. The Arp bolts are not reusable because when torqued they stretch.

What were you trying to sell it for when you had it up?

Nice car. I love the older EVOs. I have a 00 Mirage aka EVO VI. Which is kind of a slap in the mouth of the EVO to call it that, but oh well. Its just a shame that these cars weren't sold in America. I love the body style.
