my evo x build
Paule - you realize that your "Volks" have 7 spokes not 6 right?
I can appreciate the ingenuity and effort into the build although I completely disagree with it. I can not however condone apply Rays stickers to your wheels. That sir, is the definition of Rice.
Although, I do have an old piece of lumber in my backyard. I can paint it to look like carbon fibre and then put a hinge on it with some stands. Mount that on your trunk and then spray paint "Aeromotive" on it. It's now a functional Aeromotive wing.

[QUOTE=Kooldino;10968794]Let's get one thing straight. Rik is not "jelous" that he can't spray paint wheels and put fake stickers on them. Rik can afford the real thing. You need to learn how to take criticism in this world.
it is a concept so those are the wheels i built the car with ill buy another set in the future

Ignore the hate. I love it and i couldn't care less what wheels are on it TBH. I'm sure the wheels will be replaced with some high quality items at some point.
Evo looks so PHAT!
Oh and please continue with the photo updates! This thing has an effect on me!

For the sake of furthering this discourse and not having it fall into a **** flinging mess I do have a few questions regarding the build.
1 - What did you do to the rear diff? From the factory the rear diff only sees a maximum of 50% of the tq output, or ~150tq at one given time. Without even working on any performance mods you have effectively doubled the torque output to the rear diff. With power mods you are doubling or tripling the torque output.
Did you install a mechanical diff out of an RS? An old Evo 8 or 9 diff with some parts from Sheps? Or are you still running the factory rear diff?
2 - What method did you use to remove the front drive portion? Did you just pull axels or are you running a Motec or similar centre diff controller?
[QUOTE=Rik84;10969901]Paule - Jealousy (or in your case jelousy) is not the emotion I am currently feeling regarding your build.

actually i didn't do anything its all stock my one same as everyone's biggest concern was that will different size tires work.... but actually if u look on wheel size calculator 275/35/19 and 335/30/19 is only 1.4% different at first i was getting traction light etc... until my tuner did his work after that the car ran amazing no lights on the dash nothing already put 500 miles on it after tune had no issues the only thing i notice is that when u floor it it has a lot more power in the front tends to spin front wheels but my friend has 600whp evo he has the same issue front tends to spin.... i am still thinking about putting 335s all around or alteast 325s but thats for the future
