I don't think ANYONE has tested this kit on here... and if it's a FULL turbo kit that is NEW and selling for below $400... i would personally stay away from it... unless you want to be the first person to test it. I could see engine failure with this kit though :-( ...IMO I wouldn't buy a full turbo kit/swap if it was selling below $1500 brand new.
Ok thanks I'll keep looking then what would be a good moderate upgrade turbo kit I'm not looking to push a ton of boost I'm just looking to build it faster and about 20- 25 psi rate now I have a big lag because of the big *** intercooler I put on it lol
First I thought Evo's were classy. Then they became DSMs. Now it's evident that Evo's are of Honda status.
Sad day.
But seriously. Don't get that kit...
If you want 500whp, I'd grab some GSC S2 Cams, Springs/Retainers, MAP H11 head studs, ~1250cc injectors, Walbro 400lph Pump, MAP or JMF 02 Dump, ETS LICP, FP Black, and sent Curt Brown your intake and exhaust manifolds to port.
Oh, and get tuned by someone who knows their stuff, ie. JohnBradley, CBRD, etc.

I'm far from the smartest man/woman on here but I doubt with that 345$ ebay turbo kit an upgraded fmic/piping, bov, struts and a tune will get you your 500awhp goal without destroying something in your engine bay. If it was me especially having an Evo, be patient, buy quality parts. Don't sell your Evo short of good upgrades take your time and make it unique with great quality parts. But again that's just what I would do if I had an Evo, I would not sell it short. But I wish luck on your quest for 500awhp!
Fp Black = dbb turbo very nice for sure and your gonna need a upgraded turbo to even reach the 500 awhp mark like they said above stear clear of cheap turbo kits that are no name with no knowledge of them unless you want to end up pushing back home IMO I think fp black is a great turbo and im going to be using pretty much that same set up blue named with a few different things but for the most part same type of set up. good luck with your build and always do your research before you just jump in and buy anything
good advice^
The best thing you can do to REALLY enjoy your car and make it quicker is to shave weight.
Honestly if i knew then what i know now I would buy a set of 17x9 RPF1's with 255/40 star specs, 2 piece lightweight rotors, aluminum driveshaft, and all of buschurs weight reduction parts, pull the crash beams, delete a/c, and troll the threads for weight reduction....i could spend an entire day telling you each item but seriously the weight reduction will be what you "FEEL" the MOST
