AMS CF Roof FTW!

Fall-Line Update

Seat Fitting. Not my seats BTW, just the crappy ones they use for fitment purposes.

Is this the power with the 2.4 sleeved block or without? Just wondering because I know that ams has their 2.4 sleeved engines up to like 700 wheel power range and I want to go this same route.
Also just curious, why didn't you keep the te's instead of hre's since they are much lighter also a single exit exhaust would be much more beneficial in terms of weight savings too.

Runfile_002 has the numbers for the sleeved block. We are running this setup very conservative. With race fuel we are expecting to run between 600-650whp on the 5858 turbo. I could upgrade the turbo to a 6262 or 6266 and get the numbers you are looking for, but would sacrifice the spool a little. That said, I'm planning to run NASA ST1 so will probably not run more than 600whp or so.Originally Posted by evofan_08

As for the wheels, we wanted to run AD08 285/30, which required a wider wheel. I had 3 sets for TE37 already, and wanted something new. I had been eyeing the HREs for a long time, so figured it was time.
As for the weight difference, it's negligible:
HRE R43 18x10.5 19.8lbs
Volk TE37sl 18x10.5 19.6lbs

Finally getting down to the wire. These are the only items I got left to do on the build:
Big Break Kit: Alcon, AP, Endless, or Brembo
Exhaust: Tomei or Akrapovic
Front Custom Splitter
Break Cooling Kit
Surge Tank?
Things we have added since the arrival at Fall-Line:
AIM MXL Pista with GPS and SmartyCam HD.
Hotchkis Swyabars and Heavy Duty Rear EndsLinks

the akrapovic is beautiful but carries some weight.
the tomei is the lightest and the single is nice especially if you build a rear diffuser. the bad part is it does neck down at the flanges near the cat.
maybe an option is to buy the tomei, cut off the flanges and weld on V-bands if your guys can weld Ti.
