I know I wasn't thinking clearly when I thought about selling it. I have put way too many hours and dollars in it to just throw it away. I may just spend the money to have a nice place and make sacrifices elsewhere in my social life

and what sucks is I did find a decently priced place with a garage but when he showed me the garage it had a "channel" in the middle for the car to go. It's hard to explain, but basically there is the little step you have at the front of most garages, but imagine that step in the front wrapping around on the sides too, so you drive the car in and are surrounded by mini curbs. That would make it impossible to use a jack in the garage and not to mention if you get a little too far one way or the other driving in it would curb-rash your wheels... sucks but that was a complete turn-off for the apartment and I told the guy that lol

very clean build man! props for doing it right, it's a shame not everyone has the same mentality when modding their cars

Muteki I believe is how it's spelled. The paint scrapes off on the edges though, but they still look great unless you get on your knees and inspect the lugs you're not going to notice

well first, the Perrin intake didn't fit my 3" antisurge EF3 cover, plus I wanted to utilize a 4" intake.

I think I went 1000 - 1500 - 2000 grits then polished]

cooling panel is mishimoto I believe

Just found this thread, and what an amazing job you did with the car. Since you mentioned you weren't getting the results from the poorboy's polishes that you wanted have you tried menzerna polishes? I've been using them for years and love the results.

Again amazing job on the whole car.

Yeah I need to try menzerna, my brother swamears by them. I haven't had good results with any polishes recently, maybe I just forgot how to use a PC and I've become impatient haha

Detailed Image suggested Menzerna SF 4500 and blue pads for our black paint. I'm hoping to try that. I wasn't happy with the Meguiars. Too many holograms.

I'd love to check out your car next time I'm in Austin. I'm down there a couple times a year to meet up with old car friends.

The blue pads are extremely soft. I do three different steps with different pads and polishes each step.

Yellow pad and power gloss
Orange pad and super intensive
black or blue pad and final finish

Hope this helps.

I'm a novice with a rotary, I think he was trying to keep me safe.

STM line I think

I'll probably do another detail this winter but it's tough to find motivation when the results aren't as good as I would like them to be. I'm a perfectionist and it sucks when things don't go right
