Evo X GSR Cosmic Blue **Andromeda**

So after having my Subie for a good amount of time and all the stuff we went through it was time for a change. I finally came into the ability to get a brand new car I could have from Day 1 and call mine. I will never forget the good time I had with my subie and all the friends it allowed me to build. I am glad that it is going to a good home and a friend who will treat it with the love I did.

Now for the new chapter. I was able to get an amazing deal on a brand new 2013 EVO X GSR. In a newly released color Cosmic Blue. Her name is Andromeda.

First night i got her

Went to Mullholland for a good drive and add some breakin miles.

Doing a shake down and cruise with tarmac junkie

John from Cobb SoCal doing my first mod. Fuel pump relay and zip ties on boost hose to make sure everything stays put.

First meet !

More updates soon

I have had the car for 3 days and already put 400 miles on it and all with a huge on my face love the car !!!

Welcome! Love the color! Are you going to leave it stock for awhile or going to mod it? Also are you into drag racing, auotx or roadracing or anything?

It will see it's first track day march 8-9th . I plan to do many more in the future . Going to leave stock for now. Bought a koyo racing rad since it gets really hot in SoCal in the summer. I will update more as the build progresses.

I am working a custom exhaust and will be doing a protune with cosworth drop in filter. The stock intake is very very good so with the filter and a tune I will be fine. Also thinking about RCE Blacks. But as far mod's i will be leaving the car as stock as possible for now.

Also went to a 2 day track event at Buttonwillow this weekend after my 800 mile break in. Learned a ton about the car considering I got it last sat*. All I have to say is the car is amazing out of the box. The tires worked awesome once I dialed in the pressures (38-39 psi hot worked the best), Brakes , power , everything is sooo awesome. Can't wait for the next track day.*

Went off on Phil hill as you can see the rally car in it came out as had to go mudding to get back on LOL

More pics and video to follow.

You might want to get the alignment checked, mine was off from the factory. Many others have had this issue aswell. My first set of front tires were chewed up by 3k miles (which the replaced). Congrats on getting out to the track so early in your ownership.

My first order of business is to head over to west end and get an alignment. But the wear of the tires was very even after 2 days on the track.

Just check all the tire 5/32 of tread across the tires all around. So so far so good

If you don't listen to your instructor and go in the mud it will take you 3 days, rubber mallet and a pressure washer to clean your car. Listen to your instructor.

5/32 of tread across on all tires with good roll over. Thanks to john and nicole for helping me dial in the pressures (38-39 psi hot worked the best)

This was my best session on day 2. I really need to work on my line and getting all the corners correct and just good flow. I learned a lot though about the car and how it act's .

First Oil change @ 1300 miles. Switching from factory Mobil 1 to Motul Ecoenegery 8100 5w30. I have used that for years and always does me well.
