It's getting there... already over 500 on the dynojet VDR settings. I will have some trap speeds to post up Friday night t if the weather holds out

 

How did the tuning go with the big walbro? Did you tune it on pump or E85 first?

 

Tuning has been good Freddie! I already had to change a lot in the VE tables with the added air, so the Walboro just fell in line with that.

Well, the trip to the track didn't go as planned. The car developed a 4th gear lockout issue and prevented good times and good traps. This afternoon we are going to try bleeding and adjusting the clutch... hopefully it fixes the issue. The car definitely has a 9 second pass in it after seeing my 1/8th mile times in the 6.6-6.7 range.

Some of the Mazda guys have been contacting me about your car. One guy Superskates wants to get an evo8or 9 now cause of you. Can't lie you are making the journey through 10's look easier than it really is lol.

 

It is funny that you mention that, it was such a long time coming for the 10.89 on the stock turbo, and now, my bad passes (4th gear lockout and 2nd gear bogs) are 10.8-9 all day long. It will be nice when I have that problem with 9 second passes
