Sean's Evo 9 62mm on going build.

This car started out bone stock, then a few bolt ons, then went from stock turbo e85 to a fp green to a build motor pair with a gt3076r. Now I currently running a PTE 6262, it was a very rough road my first motor built 2.0 spun a main bearing and my second motor caught a rod knock hopefully the 3rd time is the charm.

Built 2.0
10:5:1 CP Pistons
Race Engineering RODS
FP4R Cams
Supertech valve springs and retainers
ACL Main n Rod bearings
Kiggly HLA Pressure regulator
Spool up COP
Full Blown double pumper
AEM fuel rail
FIC 2150
Aeromotive FPR
Fabworx Turbo kit
PTE DBB 6262
PTE 38mm W/G
Tial BOV
Exedy triple disk
ACT monolock
D2 Coilovers

Triple disk

Ditch the old gt3076 for a pte 6262

Tight fit

Saved some weight and space with the odessy same battery

New 3in pipping and 4in Intake. I also switch to speed density and ditch the MAF

COP installed

Did some tuning

D2 coilovers

How the car sits now

After the car spun a bearing I had to take a break from the whole car scene. I got motivated a couple months ago and decided to drop the pan to see how bad the damage was. The rod bearings were shot and just by eye balling the crank it didn't look salvageable either.

Time to drop the motor

Also had Jevel from Glosshouse to come through to freshen up my headlights.

Spoke to a few local engine builders but only felt confident in RaceLab and ASAPERFORMACE. ASAP has a few 4g63 cars running around S.FL so the finally decision was to go with Shane.

Upon inspecting the block turns out one of the rods was bent this whole time.

Here the motor back together

Got the V/C back. It's called smoke black still kinda iffy about that color though but it's something different

Man this is crazy. Im on my 3rd engine also and decided to go PTE 6266 Top mount and also running a 10:5.1 comp 2.0LR engine. My build is all done and currently on low boost(27psi) but managed a 10.8@127 spinning. Good luck with your build I hope it comes out awesome. here is a pic of my bay after it was all said and done.

The top mounts looks great! I been through hell and back with this car but it comes with the territory. I'm hoping to run a 9.99

Got a lot done over the weekend. Dropped the transmission, install the new ACT monolock I strongly recommend this part, the transmission slid right in and now I don't have to worry about the clip coming loose or breaking. When engaging the clip you have to give it a good hit or else it wont engage.
ACT Monolock

Transmission, t-case and engine back together

Waiting on a few more parts before I can fire her up
