Got an update on pictures for this car. Im a little behind on the pics since now the engine is a full long block, just waiting on a new oil pickup tube to come since i didnt like what i seen from his original one. So once that comes in i will get the pan on and drop it in the car. But heres what i pulled from my camera for now and have more pics i took last night on it to edit and post yet.

Now that all parts are here it will be back on its 4 in no time.

Thanks guys.

I fired up Cory's evo 8 today. It still has no intercooler piping on it, but i wanted to hear it run so i couldn't resist myself.

I got it to idle really nice, even though there is no IC piping on the car at all haha.

I let it idle, burped the coolant system, and then shut it down and drained the brad penn break in oil (waste of oil i know). Then filled with some fresh break in oil.

Now I just have to do little things then Cory can have it back and put about 750-1000 miles on it since its got a new clutch. We want to break the clutch in nice, so a good 750 miles stop and go should get that done. The engine will be happy also with break in oil and driving no boost.

Car has a buschur double pumper and FIC 2150cc inj and is idling in the vid on 93octane.

Small mod list is:

TSComptuned 2.3SLW (Super lightweight)
TSComptuned rebuilt head
Full-Race ProStreet Manifold
Full-Race 3" Downpipe & 3" Midpipe
Cobb 3" Catback
FP HTA GT3582 .82 A/R
FIC 2150cc inj
Buschur double pumper
Buschur Ported intake mani + TB
GSC S3 cams + Kiggly springs/retainers/HLA
+ more

you trust a customer with break-in? That's a little ballsy to me

PS: that crank makes me hard

I can put a lot of restrictions on the rom so he wont be able to do much.

Also, It has a new Exedy Triple HD clutch, So it needs broken in without boost.

Lots of stop and go miles for the clutch. Aside from that, The owner knows better and will not boost it unless I tell him to.

That's the same crank in my engine as well I think you have the same except not the super light weight in yours right?
