My Junkyard Evo build

This is my fourth Evo and first to go all out build on. My plan for it is to do a somewhat budget build using as many used parts as possible. I got it a couple months ago for an insane deal it needed some TLC when I got it but no big deal it had the making for some high power. It had a BR 2.1 built motor with built head and cams. I bought it on a Thursday and was at the track Saturday, well it needed a tune first off which I knew but went for it anyway (running rich as ****) put down some garbage times that I won't even post then I broke the clutch. So I ordered a QM from the guys at STM got it in two days (NY to FL).

So far this is the stuff I've done.

Custom made forward facing turbo manifold v band
Custom ac condenser with lines
Tial mvr 44mm wastegate
Precision 6266 ball bearing
Quartermaster 8 leg race with hrb
Tial Q bov
ETS mini battery
Short route uicp
Hoosier drags
4 bar map sensor
Wheel bearings
Fixed oil leaks
Fixed boost leaks

As far as goals I want to run a mid 10 while driving to and from the track.

I will post the important stuff later.

Little update...I spun a few bearings during the tuning process so now it's under the knife for a 2.4 long rod build. Apparently the person who assembled the block before I bought the car put the rod caps backwards, so it toasted all the bearings, the crank, and 3 of 4 pistons. Here are some pictures while she is down.

Parts list update as well

walbro 450
ID 2000
BFG KDW2
Manley 9:1
ACL bearings
2.4 crank
O-ringed block
painted some stuff for it to be all pretty

Will also be doing a small tuck on the bay running some ac lines a little differently and some other stuff to try and clean it up a bit. Also got some dip to spray the exterior of the car with should look pretty sweet when done.

Did a good amount of work this weekend. Did plasti dipping and put more of the motor together.

I think it all turned out pretty well. I know there body work that needs to be done but it's not a show car by any means. The color is burnt copper from dip your car.

A lot has gone down in the past couple weeks! Everything is wired and back together. Having a issue with the new pump building too much pressure causing valves to stay open. But I think we got that figured out.

Got the wiring ran a little better and cleaned things up quite a bit

Coming together

New fuel line ran and it's all ready for first fire up!

Also did the DIY engine bay bolt dressup well worth the $20

From when I first had it til now
