Let's see how I will tell the story...

First thing first, I am married and I am almost 40 and I am a master in merchant navy. So after spending a lot of time in my Renault Clio 182 cup, and getting tired of my wife having my car, I found the courage to politely ask for a car of my own. A lotus exige/Elise. Of course my wife said no (she is 10 years younger you see, 1.7cm tall, 50kg, dark blonde, economical independent, everybody, except the married ones, can think that I am living the dream), so she decided to buy me an evo. And she found one, evo x mr, with no mods, no mileage, not even any small scar... Great deal!!!





Great deal you think, because the the truth is one, an evo without mods is a Brazilian beauty without a g-string on a beach in a very hot summer...

So I started to build it up. Hmm after six months and still ask for more, and my head is ready to get explode... During my school years I read less than now!!!

Ok I started with the suspension
I was between ohlins and jrz and a choose ohlins, and till now the money that I spend for ohlins is the the money that were the most worthy...




Unfortunately while the suspension was placed on the car I was paying for it so the above pictures are not mine....

And of course just to be sure for the result whiteline rck

For breaks I want for the future to place Alcon or ap, but presently I have put a Goodrich hp ss lines, Castrol srf, and rc5+



Ok an exchaust now as I said I am almost 40 so I needed something quite











But as an downpipe I have used an AMS as it was found easily and had an additional thread to put an afr sensor...





As I bought the downpipe from AMS I said why not to place an order for some more staff











Hmm, but I want some things more, just in case... So I bought also










And of course sensors!




Evoscan and ecuflush was installed in my lap top, I donated to tephra, i made some #}**#%*^#** with a good friend and


Ok the results are not perfect, as you can see some the tune can be better... I have plans for it any way....

The near future will need more money as I plan
A Dodson clubman kit + sump
A small upgrade of my turbo
A gas pump
And some injectors...

For further future
An Alcon or ap kit will be fine...

For all of this, do you know what I found out?
That I miss my car, which is not the fastest or the more beautiful or the most desirable but it's my EVO, and there is not any other car (except maybe as scooby), that can give more pleasure when you spent time for modding...

Actually the original idea is not to show my car's build but to show my car in various places in Greece, so some of you to decide to make a life choice and visit Greece. Why life choice? It is very difficult to explain but let's just say the way of life in Greece is quite unique...
As a small clue just google ikaria Greece to find the best place in all over the world...

Presently I am serving on board a vessel (Hanjin Germany) with trade line west coast of USA to Korea, (if any body like to visit the vessel just pm, I will be on long beach on 12 of July, on Oakland on 17 of July and at prince Rupert, Canada on 8 of July), so my car with my wife are having holidays in a place that is called kourouta...

 

I am from a very small village from the north west coast of Greece, is called perdika thesprotias.
Here is a photo of one of me usual restaurants (prefer to eat out as the prices are quite reasonable)


And this is a view that I have usually during sunset when I enjoying my coffee...
