They asked me how much power the car was making and I told them "probably around 1100". On the dyno the car put down 848 before 7500 rpm. The power was still going straight up at that point. The only way we could get a true reading was from doing a pull in 4th gear as the tires were useless in 3rd. At 7500 rpm we shut the test down so the dyno would not go over max wheel speed (which I now know I can turn up) and we could get a reading. As the car made its way to the streets the boost was turned up another 10 or so lbs and the timing was bumped in around 5-6 degrees. So the 1100 whp was a guess, but I imagine a pretty good one.

Great to hear Emery, thank you. How did you do against T1raceDev and English? Originally Posted by EmeryatSTM

I'm not really sure how fast those guys ended up going. I know it was pretty fast though. We ended up at 176 mph sitting on the 10k rpm rev limiter for 200 ft or so at the end.
Running this race was one of the best things we could have done for ourselves. We learned a ton of new things over the past few weeks that will all make their way into new builds and parts.
