Love the vlog. Regarding balance shafts, you left the one on the oil pump in? So only spinning 1 shaft. Wouldn't this increase vibration over removing both shafts?

Thanks, appreciate the support! in theory yes, it will increase engine vibration leaving the belt off. But from multiple people I've talked to who left out the rear balance belt, they could not tell a difference. Maybe more people here on evolutionM can chime in on the conversation?
Thanks! Looks like your from WI? Do you go to drag races or autocross?
Ive gone to a couple of Subaru shootouts, but sold my WRX as it became an explosion nightmare. Currently live around the Milwaukee area, waiting until I get promoted until I drop a decent downpayment on an EVO
Cool. I might be filming at this years subi shootout.
Like you i just sold my WRX after it burnt a valve, then came back to the evo world with this roller.
Good luck finding your evo!

Thanks! Actually was going to fly out to PA to snag an EVO from this site but the more questions I asked, sketchier it got, trying to get 15 posts actually to warn some people. But yeah, ill have an EVO9 in time, GG or TB!
I did reasearch on here before running a tap into the lower bolt holes of the head. If you remove a lower exhaust mainfold stud you'll see it pretty much goes straight through into your head. "oil galley" might not have been the best wording. But from my understanding, anything that went in that hole could end up in your oil.
