Yeah, shows ya what i know of the world. Never would have guessed Kenya had a robust car culture & even a KFC

I would have guessed the exact opposite. My bad!

2020 Update

Turns out the whining sound wasn't the rear diff but actually the T-case, so that's been replaced.

The car's so much smoother now

Looking at replacing some engine/drivetrain mounts now because there's really bad slop\jerking while shifting. (Open to recommendations on mounts, the car is a street car with maybe 3 or so track days a year)

Also scheduled an e-tune with Rallinspired for a switchable tune. Vpower pump tune and a race fuel mix one.
I'll update with power figures when it's done 👍👍

Sweet car! I gotta ask, are there a lot of police to deal with for you? Here in Canada is becoming quite hostile to fast cars and I wonder about other places.

Honestly, the police really don't give a crap about performance cars, there are no emissions rules, i mean you could have a hood exit exhaust and they wouldn't care, there are no speeding cameras.
All the police stops are mostly just to curb drunk drivers.

It's honestly ideal for a car guy apart from the fact we have to pay like 200% for parts when shipping is including, that and the average roads.

Also we have a car import law that doesn't allow anything older than 8 years old to be imported which is pretty sh**ty too.

New Wheels

Got a decent deal on a set of Advan RS. Had them restored in Nissan KV3 Grey.

Where in kenya did you source your mechanical parts?? I can't seem to find multiple importers for such parts, like engines, gear boxes and diffs

Most of the time you've got to import your own parts, no one really sells Evo stuff here unfortunately.

How did you get the glue off the door card? How does it look? Glad you got this back . Thank you for saving it! Love the restoration projects.

I just got new door cards

The old ones had super deep scratches in the plastic and some shady holes drilled for wiring to get through. New door cards were an easy fix rather than trying to sort that mess out.
