2011 EVO GSR Road Race Build
Hey guys. Just finished up stage 1 of my road race build and thought I would share it with you all. I put a video together on YouTube and would be cool if everyone checked it out. Car has been through many different setups over the years. I have owned the car since new in 2011. As it says it in the video I used to have a full race 8374 setup on it and had a small engine fire 12 months ago. Videos about that on my YouTube page. I was using the car for half mile racing and street mostly. Since the fire I have decided to dial back the power and go with a smaller turbo (GTX3076R/AMS STX500) and go road racing. I will be doing the rest of the build over the winter in Chicago with hopes of having it on the local road courses this spring.
This video covers dyno time, first drive impressions with the new setup, and talks about next steps with the car. If anyone wants to hear more about anything on the car let me know.

Thanks for sharing the video.
FYI if that is a QRJ bov, you have it on backwards. Also the AMS GTX3076R is not custom, it's the same turbo anybody can get straight from Garrett.

Thanks for the clarification on the turbo. I will have Adam check the BOV tomorrow when I am up there to get my jeep. Car drives great.

Had a 8374 Full race Kit on the car for a while. Need something that is better for the heat of road racing. Went back to stock manifold and this for now. Been very happy with it. Plenty of power for me.

Hey y'all. Doing Gridlife next year and the evo will be going under the knife this winter. Really excited to have the safety stuff in the car with a great seat/harness. Please subscribe if you don't mind.
