New Guy From Austin TX Trying to restore an evo 8
Had a family member fall iLL trying to back his evo back 2 life so he can daily it....
Needs few interior components and to clean the gas hopefully nothing else major...
I do know she has a shep stage 1 tranny & transfer case
I've already drained fuel and purchased a new fuel pump.
Should I also replace the drivetrain fluids as the car hasn't been moved in 3 plus years.
I of course plan on changing oil and other easy stuff. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Hello and welcome @goodnevoguy
Yes, unless you know the maintenance history on the drivetrain, replacing the fluids is inexpensive insurance (engine oil, transfer case oil, trans oil & the rear diff)
We moved your thread to the project forum, so please add photos as you clean this up.
Any questions, let me know

So far I've given the tank a good scrubbing and purchased a new walbro 255 as it was corroded
Do you think I should go OEM fluids?
maybe I'll Call sHep later and ask for advice.
So much anxiety about turning the key when the new pump gets here
Anything else I should look out for b4 starting her up, mainly just want get her running again
I do know my cousin has been sick about 3-4 years so the car has sat a long time.
