In South Africa we have no access to ralli arts or Evo X models whatsoever , i think there where 10 sold ever , they are show cars only.
I have installed a TD04 mitsubishi turbo from a volvo S60 2.0T (TD04L-14T)
i have installed a 4b12 intake Cam
The car has a Unichip Q installed aswell
I am looking to boost only very low 0.1 bar - 0.5 bar ?
i asked the unichip Q tuner to only tune what the stock injectors can supply fuel for , if its 0.1 bar ill take it and start saving
i will be saving up money for some proper injectors , more fuel pressure? and a bigger map sensor in future
Could i install 4b12 injectors on here for a little extra fuel flow?
People in south africa are not used to tuning 4b11s at all , they are very rare cars here, thats why i love them!
i do not have access to an original OEM taxtric cable as its very costly for me , what can i do here guys, i love this car so much, and want to achieve this goal as cheap as possible , i dont want to make miracles happen or make huge power numbers
Could any taxtrix cable be used ? ive heard that using fake cables bricks your ecu?
please some solid advice guys <3 still busy with some small piping stuff to move around
Battery is already relocated
Thank you for the overwhelming replies, i think i answered 99 percent of the replies when i said i cannot purchase a ralli art or base evo model thats what 99 percent of the sheep would say
Hey man, the forum doesn't have as much traffic as it once had and this is a pretty odd ball question.
Hopefully someone can chime in and help out but most of the people left here own evos and that's where their knowledge is.
For the injector question, if you could figure out what body size they are, I'm sure you go aftermarket or if they are the same as evo X injectors, that might be a good option even shipped from somewhere, most people pull them and never look at them again so you could likely get a set cheap.
As for the tuning stuff, I don't know. I have no experience with Evo Xs let alone base model lancers of that era. I'd look into if the ECU part numbers are comparable base to evo X and see what you can find for reflashing.
Honestly, given the oddity of what you are doing, an aftermarket ECU might be the best move long term. It will cost more up front but you'll have options going forward for sensors used and all that which you won't if you stay with the stock ECU.
