AMS Modded EVO 9 FOR SALE WI
2006 Mitsubishi EVO IX MR
40,000 well taken care of miles (my daily driver, the ultimate street/track car) All AMS parts, installation and tunning (see mod list below) $29,000 OBO I am not broke, or need to sell, all reasonable offers considered. Add up the mod list and also consider the money spent on labor, tunning and setup. Last visit to Autobahn, I was doing laps with a Lamborghin Gallardo LP-560 chasing me. It was quite entertaining the first time we came onto the back straight and he pulled out expecting to blow my doors off. Needless to say, he tucked right back behind me. We did an entire 20 minute session with him trying to keep up. He is a very experienced driver from Stradale Motorsports. After the session he shouted "What the hell did you do that car?!?!" Are there faster ones? Of course. My goal was to build the ultimate DD, year round driven, good gas mileage, drive like stock to work (thats why it has a AEM EMS and tunned by AMS!), all while having the ability to terrorize super cars on the track. Never been to the strip with it, but have pulled on many crotch rockets. :D http://i626.photobucket.com/albums/t...08_48_copy.jpg http://i626.photobucket.com/albums/t...08_46_copy.jpg Power add-ons: AMS-EVO GT3076R Turbo Kit Silver Tial Wastegate AMS Turbo Manifold O2 Housing: Recirculated back into exhaust AMS 4" Speed Density Intake with filter AMS EVO VII/VIII/IX Front mount intercooler AMS EVO VIII Upper Intercooler pipe using polished aluminum and including a TiAL BOV (Matched Wastegate) T-Bolt Clamps DSM 880cc/min Injectors Forced Performance stage 4 MIVEC cams Supertech Dual Valve Springs, Retainer, Seat Locators, Valve Seals Kit Walbro 2G/EVO 255lph HP Fuel Pump kit AMS full 3” turbo back exhaust with resonated test pipe AEM EVO IX ECU programmed by AMS on their in-house dyno, 2 conservative road race maps, 505whp on 110 leaded and 400whp on 93, rev limit @ 7800 (maps included) AEM Boost Control Solenoid Kit For EMS Air intake sensor - GM pigtail Intake air temperate sensor AEM 3.5 bar map sensor Cusco oil catch can (always empty) Suspension: AMS Evo VII, VIII and IX tubular Front Lightweight Cross-member AMS Rear Trailing arm bushings Whiteline EVO 26mm Adjustable Front Sway Bar (not installed) Whiteline Evo 24mm Adustable Rear Sway Whiteline EVO Front Adjustable Sway Bar end links Whiteline EVO Rear Adjustable Sway bar endlinks Whiteline EVO bumpsteer correction kit Whiteline EVO roll center kit RobiSpec Springs for MR Bilstein Shocks AMS aggressive/time attack alignment specs MISC: Choice of C-West front bumper or EVO IX front bumper w/ APR lip Rexspeed trunk spoiler replacing stock wing Beatrush under tray 17x9.5 Advan GTR face gunmetal wheels with bald Bridgestone REO-1R’s Stock BBS MR wheels with Michelin X-ice snow tires (4) Nitto NTO1-R with 2 heat cycles AMS Shifter bushings Exedy EVO IX Stage 2 Cerametallic Clutch Kit AMS EVO Brake Cooling Kit Motul RBF600 brake fluid Brake water misting kit Sparco Harness Bar AGX air/fuel monitor installed in clock location (red LED) HKS EVC 6 (used only as boost gauge & mounted above steering wheel) Orbital Double Din & heater control relocation kit Kenwood touch screen cd/dvd with Sirrus (Nav capable) Audiobahn 1 ohm Amp Kicker 12” solo-baric subwoofer in large custom/vented enclosure (removable) Capacitor Red dash conversion Red dome/map light LED’s Battery relocated to right rear corner of trunk Engine always on Mobil 1 with Mobil 1 filter Entire drivetrain on Redline fluids (AMS recipe) *All stock EVO 9 parts included except stock intercooler* |

MR Dizzle why are you selling the car?
|
Want a automatic, heated seats, nav etc.
Looking at a 335i convertable. Now that I have the sports racer, I dont really "need" the evo. Afterall, I only got the evo on the track 3 times last season. 2 out of 3 were AMS trackdays of which one I didnt even drive it because of the monsoon. And next season im back racing a full schedule with central division SCCA and the national championships are now at Road America!!! All my efforts and concentration are going into that. Its an awesome car for someone who is really going to "use" it. |

Why didn't you put in the front sway? Am I mistaken, or werent you also running a roll center and bumpsteer kit? gl with sale |
just wondering if youre willing to part with the 9 stock front bumper cover?
|
I personally rode in this evo around autobahn back in april at the AMS trackday (lawrence, i was the kid with the black svt focus) and it is a beast on the track even with 4 people in it i was about to wet my pants...in the back seat!!! good luck wiht the salw!!!

Kyooch,
You are correct! I updated the post, didnt realize I didnt put that in. As far as the front bar, its quite an install and I like how the car rotates with just the fatter bar out back. Plus with the roll center kit, it increases front roll stiffness. I've had many request for part outs. Sorry guys, I will not part out car unless I dont sell it and I have to return at end of next season when my lease expires (I'll make a post then). As for the front bumber cover, it will go either to the buyer or to my cousin's TA car. Interior pics, I'll get around to it, but it looks like every other evo with a orbital kit and a touch-screen Kenwood. The HKS EVC is mounted below the speedo/tach and the A/F monitor is in place of the clock. And other than the sparco harness bar, its all OE. Evoboy88, thanks! And its always my pleasure to give rides and instruct. Thanks guys! |
Very nice man...you should toss up some more pics when you get the time. Good luck, someone will be very happy!

i just totaled mine... last weekend
i had a MR with full robispec suspension set up (clubsports) and 370 whp. this would get me close to what i had with not too much of mods... (you do have more powa! lol) i should hear back from my insurance company within a week orso hopefully... if you still have it by then i'll hit you up. im very interested. my name is joey. i'll hit you up man. |
oh the front sway helps a lot you should get it installed helps with better turn in and overall grip in front... it only takes 2.5 hrs if you are somewhat mechanically inclined.
or you can just give it to me when i buy it. :P |
so it comes with all thats listed on the mod list?
other than the choice of either one of the bumpers? since i have most of my parts i took off today this should work out great... can you pm me your number so i can call you when i get my check from insurance company and set up a meeting.? |
