AMS Modded EVO 9 FOR SALE WI
2006 Mitsubishi EVO IX MR
40,000 well taken care of miles (my daily driver, the ultimate street/track car)
All AMS parts, installation and tunning (see mod list below)
$29,000 OBO I am not broke, or need to sell, all reasonable offers considered. Add up the mod list and also consider the money spent on labor, tunning and setup.
Last visit to Autobahn, I was doing laps with a Lamborghin Gallardo LP-560 chasing me. It was quite entertaining the first time we came onto the back straight and he pulled out expecting to blow my doors off. Needless to say, he tucked right back behind me. We did an entire 20 minute session with him trying to keep up. He is a very experienced driver from Stradale Motorsports. After the session he shouted "What the hell did you do that car?!?!"
Are there faster ones? Of course. My goal was to build the ultimate DD, year round driven, good gas mileage, drive like stock to work (thats why it has a AEM EMS and tunned by AMS!), all while having the ability to terrorize super cars on the track. Never been to the strip with it, but have pulled on many crotch rockets.
Power add-ons:
AMS-EVO GT3076R Turbo Kit
Silver Tial Wastegate
AMS Turbo Manifold
O2 Housing: Recirculated back into exhaust

Want a automatic, heated seats, nav etc.
Looking at a 335i convertable.
Now that I have the sports racer, I dont really "need" the evo.
Afterall, I only got the evo on the track 3 times last season. 2 out of 3 were AMS trackdays of which one I didnt even drive it because of the monsoon. And next season im back racing a full schedule with central division SCCA and the national championships are now at Road America!!! All my efforts and concentration are going into that.
Its an awesome car for someone who is really going to "use" it.

Kyooch,
You are correct! I updated the post, didnt realize I didnt put that in. As far as the front bar, its quite an install and I like how the car rotates with just the fatter bar out back. Plus with the roll center kit, it increases front roll stiffness.
I've had many request for part outs. Sorry guys, I will not part out car unless I dont sell it and I have to return at end of next season when my lease expires (I'll make a post then). As for the front bumber cover, it will go either to the buyer or to my cousin's TA car.
Interior pics, I'll get around to it, but it looks like every other evo with a orbital kit and a touch-screen Kenwood. The HKS EVC is mounted below the speedo/tach and the A/F monitor is in place of the clock. And other than the sparco harness bar, its all OE.
Evoboy88, thanks! And its always my pleasure to give rides and instruct.
Thanks guys!

oh the front sway helps a lot you should get it installed helps with better turn in and overall grip in front... it only takes 2.5 hrs if you are somewhat mechanically inclined.
or you can just give it to me when i buy it. :P
