Jhurley's Widebody Time Attack Build- Strictly progress
hey guys, this is a new thread for all my progress, the old thread got jacked up so I need to make a new one.
The car started out life as a stock (ish) evolution VIII with bolt ons, turbo upgrade, and E85... So i had a good platform to jump into track with.
In Dec 2014 I handed the car over to Trackspec Autosports to help me complete the build. I had done a few track events with the car on the setup it was on (400whp, KW V3, stock bushings, etc)
List of modifications Updated Aug 17, 2015. I will make a post under this to update my progress since Day 1 of ownership.

Very nice! Car looks really good. The transfomation from beginning to now is amazing. Any more plans, or are you keeping her as is?
Just driving her as is, she's getting the head refreshed and rebuilt now with the GSC Beehives and retainers, Supertech valves, etc. Car had supertech springs and retainers with a lot of miles and a couple over revs from the track that I need to refresh now.
I can't say enough good things about Jon and his crew at trackspec, one of the very few bay area shops I can trust to work on my cars. They provide expert and honest service. You made a good choice with them. Hats off to you. Excellent build.
Thank YOU for sharing your 'evolution' of you car from street to track! Also, for ALL the valuable information, parts, etc.! Have a great, and safe time 'evolving'!
