In what ways is this beneficial if you don't mind me asking.

 

It helps keep the tranny cool and prevent it from slipping, thus extended its life. If you are turbo'd on an auto then you would see a bigger difference.

 

I'm just N/A with an auto I was thinking about it but I dunno what it would do for me, lol

 

basically it does for the transmission what the radiator does for the engine: it helps cool it down. If you've ever run your car hard for an extended period of time you'll notice that it starts to slip. If nothing else, it'll help your tranny last.
