(2) Is this setup VTA or does it go into the downpipe (I can't tell from the pictures)?
(3) What is the condition of the turbo? Is there any play in the shaft?

1.) AMS started doing that a little bit after I bought the kit. There is actually AMS welded into the manifold, but just wrote in that cannot be removed. AMS did not offer black coating at time of purchase which I wanted so I opted for non-polished/non-coated. Never got around to it. Purchased New about 2 years ago, sold my evo 6 months ago so its just been in a box.
2.) dual slip fit recirculated wastegate dump
3.) Turbo is in perfect working condition. Have 2 shops, one that is a AMS dealer that can vouch for the kit(Reese Tuning, Tuning Technologies).
4.) Both, kit can fit both Evo 8 and 9
