Ultimate Racing EVO X and 2009+ Ralliart Ceramic substrate High Flow Cat. Bolts directly into the stock exhaust or any aftermarket exhaust designed to work with the Evo X or 2009+ Ralliart.
Includes $20 optional extra bung/cap for future addition of wide band air fuel guage.
This cat is in perfect condition.
This is known to be the quietest high flow cat available from Ultimate Racing, and from their testing, provides the best probability for passing emissions testing of the various products they market. In truth, after a fairly entensive review of all the high flow cats available for these cars, I concluded that this was the quietest cat available from any source, that it provided the lowest probability of a check engine light, and also provided the best probability for passing emmissions testing.
I used this high flow cat for 2 months, and about 1,000 miles total before trading my car. Note that the Ultimate Racing 02 bung is set slightly away from the direct exhaust flow. During the time I used this car, I never had a single check engine light, and I am certain that is directly attributable to the Ultimate Racing 02 bung offset design.
Other forum members have reported some of the different vendors test pipes and competitive cat designs not having the same type of 02 bung offset have resulted in check engine lights. Your results may vary.
I bought this high flow cat direct from Ultimate Racing April 21, 2011 and the cost was $270 plus $25.00 shipping from Canada, $295.00 total.
I will sell it for $175.00 FIRM shipped in the lower 48 states. The price for this cat is far more than fair, so please don't bother with other offers.
