Digging through the trailer I noticed I still have this clutch from our sponsorship with ACT. You'll notice the picture dates are old but the clutch remains in the same box, wrapped and ready to go. At this point, I'm feeling somewhat more stupid than usual for not working harder to sell these clutches and so, ultimately, the price drop to make this happen is a reflection of my idiocy.

The clutch is ready to go, and as I describe below, if you drag or launch your car often, this is the clutch for you. It couldn't be any faster and will handle a mountain of torque. Read more at ACT's website.

This is a very light, strong and aggressive clutch and HD pressure plate. Very fast shifting, it is best used for (in my opinion) drag racing or launching. This is a rigid design, meaning there are no springs and so has an immediate and aggressive bite. Shifts are lightning fast. Frankly, in the very little time I spent with the clutch, it was surprisingly easy to drive. Probably not suitable for someone moving from an OEM clutch but, if you've got the stuff for it, you will definitely notice much faster launch and shifting.

We tried both, this 4 Puck and the 6 Puck rigid and ultimately decided the 4 puck was somewhat more suitable for launching (something we never do) and so are using the 6 Puck for road racing. This clutch has less than 100 miles use and is in practically new condition. The clutch was installed professionally by EFI Logics (and then uninstalled too) and is in like new condition. You will need to break in the clutch, as we didn't even get that far.

I have the clutch and HD pressure plate here, in the original box and ready to ship.

No, really, it is in the box ready to go. How much less were you hoping to pay? You launch the car periodically, or have been out to the drag strip, and what, expect your current clutch to last forever? Maybe you're saying "My current clutch is great and I don't want to spend $170 on a clutch I don't need, mine will last a long time". And then, well, it starts to slip, maybe a month maybe a year from now and you are saying, damn, now I'm looking at $500 plus install. I wonder if that really nice, articulate guy still has that ACT clutch? It's a tough bet and the first reasonable offer takes it. It could be you.
