Kenwood Ipod Headunit Bundle!
Kenwood Ipod Headunit Bundle!
Hey All- I sold my Evo. So I'm selling my after-market head unit. Only was used for 3 months! The wiring is completely soldered and ready for plug an play for the Lancer Evolution. The bundle includes:
Kenwood KCA-iP500 iPod™ Control Interface. MSRP- $99 let it go-$75 w/shipping
Kenwood KDC-MP5028. MSRP- $199 let it go-$145 w/shipping

With this bundle you can control you IPod directly from you headunit while your Ipod is stored in your glove box. I found it useful. And the sound quality is excellent.

Yes you do need a Kenwood unit. Look at the picture, it clearly shows its a KENWOOD adapter.
Yeah you do need a kenwood deck that has the I-pod interface plug in the deck. Only bummer about I-pod interface and the kenwood deck, is that, it doesn't list the song that's playing, only the track number. But, other than that it's awesome. You get way better sound quality then you would be doing it FM modulated. The sound is just as good as a CD playing through the stereo. A definite must have for all I-pod owners!

I have an older kenwood touchscreen dvd player with external brain. Do you have any idea if this would work with it? I don't think IPOD's were around when this headunit was introduced, but there are similar plugs on the brain like the one on the ipod adapter.
Hey guys drop me PM's if realy interested. You do need a Kenwood Headunit. I don;t know if it wil work on older headunits. If you look on the back of the headunit there needs to be a circular female prong plug. I should work if you have that on the back.
