Factory SSL Subwoofer
Not necessarily, someone in the car audio forums took out the factory sub and mounted either an 8" or a 10" inside this box and they really liked it if I remember correctly. Not to mention the space savings that result!

although i disagree with this statement, i do also have my factory head unit used for the same amount of miles as the sub if that helps you out a little...not sure if mine is any different from your head unit however. And like ^ said that box can be modified as another option...plenty of options available
