WTB: PLUGS for trunk

hey guys


im thinking of going wingless but i want to try it out and see how it looks with plugs. does any1 know where i can pick some up from a web site or a vendor pained in wicked white?

Very easy fix. Go to autozone or home depot and pick up some plastic push clips

will it not leak tho if its raining or anything like that? plus i want to color match the trunk without going ot paint shop

It shouldn't leak depending on the size of the clip you use. The bigger you use, the tighter the fit and less likely-hood it will leak. I used them on my old SRT-4 when I pulled the wing off of it and never had any leaking issues at all. As far as paint matching, my best opinion would be to get a spray can of wicked white at the dealership and a can of clearcoat, scuff up the clips and paint them.

Get matching vinyl from the local sign shop.. you wont even notice it til your up very close.. the plugs look nasty IMO

i might do that im gunan go to autozone today pick up some plugs and see how the car looks wingless. then if i like the look i will prob order that rear spoiler and see how it goes and go to a sign shopa nd get the matching vinyl

The holes are outside the trunk seal over the channel, so leaking is extremely unlikely...for the VIII's at least
