This is off of an Evo X GSR & therefore should work with previous gen Evos as well (same thread pattern). It's made from delrin & is in excellent shape. It also will not burn your hand when in the sun, which is always a plus

No, not very heavy at all. If you still have the base leather knob, I think it's a bit heaver than that, but quite similar.
