It depends on the event. It's just a HPDE event, 99% positive you don't need a certified sticker. If it's a sanction race(wheel to wheel) from the organization NASA, SCCA, etc, then yes, you will need to get it certified by having it inspected by the racing organization of the event. But it's just an HPDE or open track event, I'm sure you will be fine without a certified sticker. But you want to double check that. All the track event I went to doesn't need it.
