I sell two stock Evo VIII 2005 tail lights. One is in perfect flawless condition.
The other one got some scratches in the middle of the lens (about 5% of the lense) . They have been professionally polished and they have a mirror finish.
Scratches could probably be sanded down but I didn't want to sand them too much to make the lens thinner. IMO they aren't enough noticeable to sand them down and completely repolish the lenses.
This is why the price is lower than usual kits. They come with harness and bulbs. 75$ shipped
