I got this radar detector as a gift almost 4 years ago, and it still works great. It picks up K and Ka band very well from the front, and decently from the rear. Also picks up X band, V band (not sure who uses that...it only went off on this mode a few times in random spots), and laser, although the laser pickup isn't 100% reliable. In the past 4 years I have only received one ticket for speeding (even though I do it anytime I drive) and that was from a laser gun that didn't register until it was too late. It has picked up every active radar using police car I have come across in the past 4 years, and picks up from a very good distance, too. It also picks up radar from behind, but from a lesser distance. I am only selling this unit because I have upgraded to a Valentine 1. These go for around $100 new, and I'm asking for $50 obo. The unit itself is in very good condition with a few scratches on the bottom sides. Comes with suction cup window mount and Cigarette lighter power cord.
