One of the biggest problems with powerbook laptops is a broken ac adapter (where you plug it in) most people bump them too many times and end up breaking them. I just had the dc jack board replaced with a brand new one and bought a brand new ac adapter as well. Be careful buying other powerbooks with a wobbly charging port!
